IMPORTANT NOTICE

1. When the Customs authority which has granted the approval deems it necessary, photographs or diagrams authenticated by that authority, shall be attached to the approval certificate. The number of those documents shall then be inserted by the Customs authority, under item No. 6 of the certificate.

2. The certificate shall be kept on the means of transport.

3. Means of transport shall be produced every two years, for the purposes of inspection and of renewal of approval to the customs office of the region where the owner or user is established.

4. If means of transport no longer complies with the technical conditions prescribed for its approval, it shall, before it can be used for the transport of goods under Customs seal be restored to the condition which justifies its approval.

5. If the essential characteristics of means of transport are changed, means of transport shall cease to be covered by the approval and shall be reapproved by Customs authority before it can be used for transport of goods under Customs seal.
